Scoil an Linbh Íosa

Scoil an Linbh Íosa
Prosperous, Co. Kildare

Congratulations to Scoil an Linbh Íosa of Prosperous, Co. Kildare for being awarded Star Site. The school's website is very well laid out with good use of muted colours and space. The site is regularly updated and is very easy to navigate. The most relative and up to date information is posted on the home page which is very convenient for parents and pupils. A regularly updated event box and social media links for the school is embedded on the right hand side of the homepage.

The site reflects the inclusive nature of the school by having a page for the Board of Management as well as a dedicated tab for Parent's. The school also partakes in a wide range of sports such as Athletics, Soccer and GAA. As well as all their involvement in sport, the school was awarded an Active School Flag as well as at six Green Flags for environmental awareness and care.

The school's website has an easy to follow calendar along with information on school policies, class schedules and newsletters. Each class also has their own dedicated tab where parents and pupils can keep up with activities such as Active Citizens, Investigating Fitness, Guitar performances, Japanese projects and celebrating Roald Dahl Day to name but a few.

This a very simple and straight forward website that is well maintained and provides invaluable information to parents, pupils and the community about the school's activities. Well done!
