Congratulations to Scoil Fionntáin Naofa of Abbeyleix, Co. Laois for winning Scoilnet's Star Site award!

The homepage of Scoil Fionntáin Naofa's website has a nice simple and easy to follow layout. There are eight dropdown menus across the top of the page and a photo of the exterior of the school with a brief description of the school's ethos. Below this, there are three columns featuring information on the School Band, School Sports and the School Garden.

The first navigation tab contains information on the school such Board of Management, history of the school and curriculum information. Scoil Fionntáin Naofa's website also contains an extensive Parents section with information and advice on homework, healthy eating, policies, school calendar and parent/teacher communication.

The Activities section of the site highlights the achievements of sports, the school band the Green School initiative. There is also a dedicated section to the school's participation in the Active School Flag Programme which shows how the school is active across a range of activities.

The School News section highlights items of interest that are occurring across the school while the School Blog section showcases all the hard work being done in the classroom by both the teachers and pupils such as the fire safety workshop, still life drawings and a pollination workshop.
