St Joseph's PS
Templemore, Co. Tipperary

Well done to St Joseph's Primary School of Templemore, Co. Tipperary for winning Scoilnet's Star Site award!

The school's website has a high quality design with a clean layout, good use of colour and space and an easy to follow navigation bar. Visitors to the site are greeted with a high quality photograph of the exterior of the school along with well laid out pictures of events as well as a photo slider. Contact details for the school along with social media links and important dates are placed conveniently towards the bottom of the page.

The navigation bar at the top of the page contains just six dropdown menus which makes it easy for users to find what they are looking for with just one or two clicks. The About Us tab contains sections on the history of the school, the mission statement, school policies, general information and the principal's welcome message. The School Initiatives section outlines the initiatives in the school such as the Active School programme, Green Schools programme, Health Promotion and the School Completion Programme.

St Joseph's Primary School's website contains a very informative section for parents. This section contains information on the Parent's Association, the Home School Community Liaison scheme, enrolment policies and useful links to enable parents to help pupils with their learning. The school's website also contains a Kids Corner with useful links for pupils with everything from Gaeilge to Maths to coding. We are also delighted to see the inclusion of a link to World Book Online via Scoilnet!

St Joseph's Primary School's website is well maintained, kept up to date and reflects the inclusive nature of the school as well as the dedication and hard work of the staff, pupils and parents. Well done on winning Scoilnet's Star Site award!
