Congratulations to Templederry National School, Co. Tipperary for winning Scoilnet's Star Site award!

Templederry National School's website is colourful, well designed and welcoming to visitors. There is a good use of space and colour which makes it easy to navigate and find information. The homepage contains a welcome message as well as contact details for the school and a high resolution photo showcasing the school's astro pitch.

The homepage contains seven navigation tabs that bring you to various parts of the site. The About Us tabs contains details on the ethos of the school as well as downloads for parents and visitors to the site such as newsletters and information booklets. The site also features an embedded calendar which highlights important dates in the school year and can be accessed by both parents and pupils. The History tab contains a link to a PDF of a book which celebrates the history and heritage of Templederry National School.

The site also contains an extensive section on policies which includes details of the school's Heathy Eating Policy, Code of Behaviour and Acceptable Usage policy to name but a few. There is a Blog section that contains a monthly update on activities within the school. These posts usually contain a brief description along with a photo of the activity.

The Activities section of the homepage contains information on school concerts, green schools and the school league. There is also a gallery section that displays up to date photos of school activities and events such as Grandparent's Day, School Tours and the School Musical.
