STEM sa Bhaile

In May and June 2020, the Primary STEM team designed and presented a series of four live webinars titled ‘STEM sa Bhaile’. The purpose of each webinar was to share practical resources, ideas and learning experiences to support teachers in the area of STEM, both in school and at home, as teachers navigated distance learning. Great care was taken to select activities which were accessible in the home environment. Each webinar has a theme which is appealing and of interest to pupils.

While schools have reopened, these resources could be easily adapted for classroom use or used in blended learning. These activities would also be very helpful for teachers supporting very high risk pupils or pupils who are isolating at home due to COVID-19 guidelines.

The Primary STEM team are running an additional series of webinars called ‘STEM ar Scoil’ and more information about registering and accessing recordings/resources can be found here.

The PDST Primary STEM team issue an e-Bulletin STEM Smaointe and regular updates regarding upcoming CPD events via email. If you would like to subscribe please click here.

In addition to this we are delighted to offer you bespoke school support, where a skilled advisor will provide school support during and after school hours. If you wish to apply for school support please click here.
