Bill Casey is known to GAA followers as a winner of an All-Ireland medal and a winner of a football medal with Dublin in 1963. He is known to basketball people as the founder of the St. Vincent's basketball club and is someone who played and coached at school level, club level, inter-county level and international level in the sport.
