Suggestions for use: Hobbes is a key thinker linked with many of the strands on the course but most relevant in strand 1 and 2. This handout helps students link his work and ideas with topics that they will encounter in these and other strands. It would be advised students keep this handout in their folders for reference during the rest of the course when the ideas of the thinker become relevant in other contexts and even in assessment.
