Webinars will build on a specific idea which was explored in the full day seminars in order to further inform teachers about that idea but also to allow the teacher to further explore the topic at their own pace.

Webinar	The Research Study - Building on Experience This webinar is brought to you by the PDST Economics team and has been produced in collaboration with our partner agencies and key stakeholders; the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment, the State Examinations Commission and the Department of Education. The webinar and accompanying resources aim to restate and reinforce the messages of the economics specification and the latest NCCA Guidelines issued to support the research study process. Webinar	Monetary Policy, Financial Regulation and Economic Analysis This webinar features Mr Enda Keenan, Economist with the Central Bank of Ireland and focuses on the role of the Central Bank of Ireland, the implementation of monetary policy as well as financial regulation and economic analysis. This content is carefully mapped to the Leaving Certificate Economics Specification and looks at how students can interpret and evaluate economic data and key economic indicators. School Support Visits

The PDST school support service is available to all teachers of Economics whereby an advisor can be requested to visit the school and work with teachers on site in relation to supporting the implementation of the new specification. This service depends on the capacity of the team and may not be available for every school in the country. To avail of school based support for Economics: Follow this link to PDST online form.
