Suggestions for use: Starting with a bass-line ostinato, the document shows how to build up a harmonic ostinato. Melodic elements are added; lyrics are changed; the 'Jaws' theme appears; there is a countermelody; the structure of the song is shown and nine learning outcomes are listed. These slides supported a PDST Music workshop and unfortunately the audio clips are not included here. However, they are easy to find.
