The students make or identify a habitat in the school grounds and investigate what lives there. Focus on minibeasts (ants, spiders and other creepy-crawlies!)
Strand: Living Things
Suggestions for use: Investigate the current habitat in the school grounds, create a new habitat using old pieces of carpet etc. Return to the habitat on a weekly basis and record the weather, plant growth and any minibeasts that are present. Present your findings on a chart in the classroom.
