Content objective:
This resource should enable a child to:

  • explore the use of magnets to lift and hold objects
  • investigate how magnets may be made
  • learn that magnets can push or pull magnetic materials

Suggestions for use: Use as a stimulus to introducing a lesson on magetic fields and how they are created. Include discussion around the impact of the north and south pole of a magnet.
