Follow Instructions to Colour in the Jerseys for Euro 2016: Home v Away

Euro 2016 football kit worksheets are a test in reading and following instructions. Each page contains instructions for colouring both home and away kits and the two kits to colour. We have a set of Euro 2016 group posters for you to compare the finished kits to.

Content objective:
This resource should enable a child to:

  • paint objects chosen for their colour possibilities

Suggestions for use: Use activity as a link between Art and Literacy. Divide class into group A,B,C,D,E,F and provide groups with the worksheets for each team in that Euro 2016 group. Pupils must read the instructions individually/ seeking advice and confirmation from their group. Pupils colour in the Home and Away jerseys using Paint/ Markers. Once Finished, allow pupils to then research the jerseys on the internet to check whether they got the colours and patterns correct. (Or check worksheet answers in the Art&Craft section of the Euro 2016 Themepage)
