Safety in the classroom or on the playing field is important for the well-being of all pupils. When pupils are acting out, they need to be made aware that their behaviour is socially inappropriate. This resource also helps pupils in learning the rules of soccer/ football match.

Suggestions for use: Print out and laminate the picture card. Use card to reinforce social skills within pupils. Use a reminder in behaviour management strategies (three warnings and cool out time). Use in physical education games so that pupils learn the rules of the game associated with real soccer/ football matches.
