Don't go straight into the game this week...practice drills and then give goals to teams when they use the drill in matches instead rather than the ball being in the net. Suggestions for use: Set up numbered stations outside for your P.E class. Provide an IPad at each station for the group to sit around watching the drill they need to practice. Designate a pupil as the leader in each mini team. Provide the soccer after three - four minutes of watching video. Pupils practice drills in the groups. Rotate stations after 5 minutes practicing. Set class in small teams for a match. Before the match, give 5 minutes for the team to plan the tactics they will use. Could repeat the numbered station activity when they are in their teams. For the match; a goal is rewarded if they use the drill clearly. A goal is awarded if they score a goal.
