Sight Words Fly Swat

Added: 01 Nov 2016 Contributor: Karl Meehan Resource type: Assessment / Game

Engage pupils with this fun way of teaching some of the most common sight words. Pupils must listen to a specific sight word and swat that exact one from a range of others. Ideal for use as a whole class activity, pair work or one-to-one instruction.

Suggestions for use: These resources are differentiated so that they can be used with different class levels. Can be used as an alternative to the word wall in the classroom. Add a competitive edge to this activity by enabling two pupils to go head to head. This activity is also ideal for pupils with SEN who may need extra support in this area.
