Easter Egg Maths

Added: 09 Mar 2017 Contributor: Emer Ní Chéidigh Resource type: Worksheet

To use this worksheet the child/group/class will need 5 Easter Eggs in boxes, this could work nicely as one station in your Maths lesson. The same 5 eggs can move to a different group each day. The child is asked to list the eggs by weight, identify any 2D/3D shapes they see on the boxes, identify which they found most appealing and why. The are also asked to explore the dates bought and the sell by dates, to measure the boxes and perimeter, use a calendar and find data from a bar chart.
