Lesson 3 is inspired by an item of crest ware- a miniature Porcelain Pig with a Mayoral Crest from the Limerick Museum. Included in this lesson is a short stop motion video that gives a cultural and local historical context to the object; a short video of award winning ceramic artist Ann McBride demonstrating how a shape like this pig would have been constructed; and a short video of a teacher in a classroom delivering the classroom based clay lesson plan- and the results!
