Added: 30 Nov 2022 Contributor: Hunt Museum Resource type: Demonstration / Lesson Plan

Lesson 4 is inspired by a Mexican Tree of Life sculpture by Tiburcio Soteno from The Limerick City Gallery of Art. Included in this lesson is a short stop motion video that gives a cultural and historical context to the object; a short video of award winning ceramic artist Ann McBride demonstrating how a Tree of Life would have been constructed; and a short video of a teacher in a classroom delivering the classroom based clay lesson plan- and the results!
