Science Week 2020

Welcome to Science Week 2020!

The PDST Primary STEM team in partnership with Scoilnet Primary brings you fun and useful activities for use in the classroom or home. This year we are focusing on the Science Week theme “Choosing our Future”. The topic of toys will be explored to develop skills pupils need to choose their future! We are looking at a range of activities including Sit Spot, Odd One Out, Mystery Image and What’s Going On?

Click on the buttons below to access tasks suitable for both Junior and Senior classes. These are available in both English and Irish. Being mindful of the different abilities in every class, you may like to use activities from both class sections, adapting your level of differentiation appropriately. Please be cognisant of Covid-19 procedures adopted by your school when using resources.

The PDST Primary STEM issue an e-Bulletin STEM Smaointe and regular updates regarding upcoming CPD events via email. If you would like to subscribe please click here.

In addition to this we are delighted to offer you bespoke school support, where a skilled advisor will provide school support during and after school hours. If you wish to apply for school support please click here.

Finally, our webinar series STEM sa Bhaile and STEM ar Scoil are available here. The next webinar will run on Tuesday 10th November and you can register here.

Have fun and please feel free to share photos with us on Twitter tagging @PDSTPrimarySTEM and @ScoilnetPrimary. We’d love to see how your pupils enjoyed Science Week!
