Suggestions for use: Teacher asks the class to describe an object in the classroom and explains to the class that the words used are describing words or adjectives. Teacher will then run through the resource. Teacher will write a number of words on the whiteboard (some adjectives, some naming words) and will ask the class to differentiate between them. Teacher will write a sentence on the board and ask the class to discuss in pairs how they can use adjectives to extend the sentence. Class can practice this individually using workbook/worksheet or sentences handed out by teacher.
