Sheila Gillick played on the first Irish Women’s basketball team in 1973 and went on to serve as honorary secretary of Basketball Ireland. She was also the administrator of the Dublin Ladies Basketball Board.
Maria Glover also served as honorary secretary of Basketball Ireland. She was team manager of the successful 1992 Four Countries Team, served as president of the Dublin Ladies Basketball Board and was also a founding member of Corinthians Basketball Club.
Colette Burke was a leading member of Corinthians Basketball Club as well as serving on the Dublin Ladies Basketball Board.
