DISAPPEARING BEE'S

Bees in Ireland are under threat in 2016.  This video shows a single bee during the summer of 2016 collecting pollen from lavendar in a Dublin garden.

Bees are necessary for food production, and the fact that they are under threat is a big concern.

Destruction of natural habitat and the replacement of grass with gravel is all contributing to the demise of bee's.  Hopefully these trends reverse and there are still plenty of bee's in 2116.

Outside of Ireland there is research into robotic bees, hopefully that is not all you are left with in the future.  While kids and adults run when they see a bee, well mainly when they see a wasp, I wouldn't want to see them disappear altogether.
