Tony is an old man living in Arklow all by himself and is probably, by this moment protesting about electricity. He doesn`t want it in his home at all. In fact he is protesting right now because I am looking out my sitting room window at him.
As you could have guessed I live right across the road from him and have to suffer the noise of his protests to the E.S.B workers outside his home.
My house has electricity as well as 10 other homes in the town. Tony is the only one who doesn’t have it. (Boy is he missing out).
I had to do something about it so I hatched a plan.
I invited him to my house to have tea with me,the

So, as planned he arrived at three o`clock to have tea. I showed him the cooker and how to use it, I showed him the kettle and how to boil it, I also showed him the lights and how to turn them on and off.
The next day I saw him standing outside his house with the E.S.B workers. Oh no I thought, here goes another protest but instead of seeing him fight he let them in and the next day he was cooking with a cooker, boiling with a kettle and reading with a light.
