Substance Use

 A teacher created collection with supporting classroom aids for teaching and learning about 'Substance Use'. A sample scheme of work for the collection is available here. Teachers should also visit the useful websites at the end of this collection page before teaching the topic of 'Substance Use'

Learning Intentions

  • To inform students about drug abuse.
  • To enable students to develop a framework for responsible decision-making and to take action to safeguard and promote his/ her wellbeing and that of others.
  • To provide opportunities for reflection and discussion.
  • To promote self-esteem, self-confidence and physical, mental and emotional health and well-being.
