Elf on the Shelf Rocket

Students can create their own elf on the shelf to bring home with them. The elf will monitor all behaviour for Santa Clause to decide who is naughty or nice. Teachers can create their own rocket for the classroom. Supposedly, if there is misbehaviour happening - the elf will rocket off to the North Pole to tell Santa Clause. (Caution - Elf may disappear in the classroom and this may worry students)

Suggestions for use: Set up the behaviour system in the classroom whereby students peer assess behaviour by reminding students of the department of elve surveillance. Students could be nominated as the elves helpers during the festive season to help monitor behaviour for you, the teacher and for Santa Clause.
Alternatively, fill out one of the forms and show the form to the class. Ask the class to imagine how they would feel if they received the official elf warning. Students can discuss and write about their feelings.
