Home Economics teacher, Danielle Conaty, uploaded external and original resources to Scoilnet for teachers to support their students in reflecting and revising the Leaving Certificate Home Economics course.
The resources created and curated by Danielle focus on assessment of learning in the form of Socrative, Quizlet, and Kahoot quizzes. Socrative is a fantastic tool offering teachers assistance in automatically correcting student's work. Student results are subsequently emailed to the teacher.
Danielle also devised revision booklets for all four core areas of the Home Economics course. These revision booklets cover past State Examination questions. Students could complete these booklets using the supplementary notes and informative videos.
