Major changes have occurred in the tram network over the last century. This story looks at the old Dublin and Blessington Steam Tram and the new modern tram system known as the Luas.

The Luas operates from early morning to late at night, every day of the week. During the busy times of the day, the Luas comes every 4-10 minutes from Tallaght to Belgard and every 12-15 minutes during off peak times. You can find out when the next tram is due by looking at the electronic timetable, located at every Luas stop. The total journey time from Tallaght to the point is estimated at 51 minutes.
