A Story of Trams: From Old to New curated by Karl Meehan

The tram was designed so that each carriage could carry 68 passengers, 30 inside and 38 outside. The carriages were split into different classes, with the wealthier people having the most comfortable seats downstairs in first class. Seats on the roof were arranged to take in local scenery en route. Note the open top and dangerous stairway. There was no glass to protect passengers on the top from the wind and rain. The old tram logo would have been clearly displayed on each tram.
